Watergate Creates is the Watergate’s artist focused area. Here we hope to offer a resource to artists in which they see us as a point of contact for support, partnership, collaboration, guidance, networking and funding.
We strive to support all artists, both visiting and in residence, with high quality service provision across all areas of the theatre including marketing, sales, tech and front of house.
Within this we aim to support excellence and broaden access by reaching out to artists of all disciplines, cultural backgrounds, ages and with a link to Kilkenny.
We will do this transparently ensuring that access to our support and resources is democratic and reflects equality standards.
We seek to create an environment in which Kilkenny based artists can make work of ambition and quality, and while doing so be paid fairly and appropriately.
