It is our goal at the Watergate Theatre to curate a programme of live events in an inclusive and diverse way by offering a series of arts experiences of excellence which reflect audience interests, budget and feedback.
Always with a focus on quality we aim to provide engaging events which spark excitement, debate, a sense of fun and participation through creative, careful and thoughtful programme curation.
We launch a multi-disciplinary arts programme three times per year. Our goal when we do this is that everyone who opens it will find something in it that excites and interests them. We strive to do this by keeping an open communication channel to all those who already attend events with us and by reaching out to those who we hope to engage.
We consider all age-groups, backgrounds and budgets. We include theatre, dance, music, comedy, visual art and work for children and families or schools, and young people. Care and time are taken to curate this programme so that all consideration is given to all community segments, education, entertainment artistic development and innovation.
