Mississippi, 1932. Identical twins ‘Smoke’ and ‘Stack’ (both played by a phenomenal and Oscar-nominated Michael B. Jordan) return to their hometown after many years away. Using money stolen from criminals, they set about fulfilling their dream of starting a dance hall for the local Black community. On opening night, the twins reunite with old friends and lovers as locals gather for a night of joyous music and dance. Things take a violent turn, however, when a group of music-obsessed vampires - led by Irish vampire Remmick (Jack O’Connell) - lay siege to the twins’ new establishment.
