Calendar Girls
Watergate Theatre Collective is proud to announce its return to the stage in 2026 with the award-winning comedy-drama 'Calendar Girls' by Tim Firth.
Directed by Christine Scarry, this much-loved play celebrates friendship, resilience, and humour.
Calendar Girls will run in the Watergate Theatre from 22nd–25th July 2026.
Are you ready to step out of your comfort zone and onto the calendar? We’re still on the search for our very own Calendar Girls (and guys!) - and yes, that’s means you! If you’ve ever fancied channeling Helen Mirren’s confidence, Julie Walter’s heart or Celia Imrie’s mischievous sparkle - now’s your time to shine! Join us for a show jam packed with wit, warmth…….and some very strategic use of buns, flowers and teapots!
We’re looking for bold women, brilliant character actors and anyone ready to be part of something funny, moving and genuinely uplifting. There are also a number of fabulous roles for men in this production- could you be the next Ciarán Hinds or John Alderton?
Auditions take place over the next couple of weekends so we would love to hear from you - Email collective@watergatetheatre.com for further info and audition material.
For character breakdown and further audition details, please email collective@watergatetheatre.
