At the Watergate we want as many people as possible to come to the events in our theatre. We want to ensure you avail of the best rate for you and your group when booking. A number of discounted rates are available, some of which will be at the discretion of the promoter.
In line with our mission for as many people as possible to engage with our events we want to make our tickets affordable for all budgets. Student, Senior Citizen and Unwaged rates are available for nearly all our events. The discounted or concession rate for an event will be advertised on event posters and booking pages online or you can ask a member of our box office team when booking with us in the theatre box office.
The Watergate Theatre welcomes group bookings for all performances. Group discounts are available for groups of 10 or more. Discount prices vary per event. We can reserve your order until an agreed date after which we will seek full payment. Payment can be made using cash, card, cheque or by bank transfer. Group bookings must be paid in full seven days prior to the event.

Discounts for large school bookings are available and will vary from event to event. Teachers are not charged to attend events with their schools. Payment for school bookings can be made using cash, card, cheque or by bank transfer. School bookings must be paid in advance of the event; an invoice will be sent once group numbers have been finalised.
Friend of the Watergate Rates
If you have purchased ‘Friend of the Watergate’ membership you will receive a number of benefits. Get 20% off selected shows, where you see the ‘Friend of the Watergate’ symbol on the event booking page or beside the event in our season programme. You will also get tickets to upcoming movies at a reduced rate of €5.
