An exhibition of visual art by Vicki O' Donoghue
Fragmented Realities
Fri 1 May - Tue 30 Jun 2026
Vicki O’Donoghue’s artwork explores the themes of herd mentality and polarization of todays society. This new almost invisible social fabric seems to have become the new norm! The struggle for individuality amidst the ever changing sea of conformity, is becoming increasingly uncomfortable, and difficult, to navigate. This work invites the viewers to ask: are we defined by the groups we join, or by the moments that we break away? Her narrative often uses animal, environmental, and primal influences, to answer these questions. Her work creates a space for reflection, to consider the courage of divergence and the quiet beauty that manifests from a truly individual existence. These abstract works aim to probe the silent pull of the herd, and the jarring fractures of our polarised society.
